- Dyslexic Children Have Abnormal Brain Lactate
Children with dyslexia have difficulty learning to recognize written words due to subtle deficits in oral language related to processing sounds and accessing words automatically. The purpose of this study was to compare regional changes in brain lactate between dyslexic children and control children (age- and IQ-matched children who are good readers, ages 9-12, all right handed boys) during oral language activation.

- MRC Psycholinguistic Database
This database is designed to be of use to psycholinguists in selecting stimulus
materials for testing; for use by researchers in Artificial Intelligence as a source of information required for
natural language processing and cognitive simulation; and for use by computer scientists who wish to use the word lists and syntactic information in the design of text processors.
